The Advanced Canadian Nursing Program for Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) is a professional development and upskilling program designed for IENs with at least 2 years of nursing experience who want to work as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Canada. The program is designed for nursing professionals who have education and training from countries that share a similar framework of nursing responsibilities and duties with Canadian standards.
IENs who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to join this Canadian nursing program, which focuses on helping internationally educated nurses complete the required educational, professional, and legal steps to work as a licensed nurse (RN/LPN) in Canada.

✓ Admission Requirements
Applicants to the program must meet the following admission requirements:
- Mature student status (19 years of age)
- Nursing degree or diploma
- 2 years of work experience as a nurse within the past 5 years
- Current nursing license in the home country
English Language Proficiency Admission Requirements
Applicants must also meet the following English language proficiency requirements:
- English proficiency interview
- IELTS Academic overall score of 6.0, with no band score less than 5.5
- Completion of post-secondary or secondary education in a country where English is the official language

- Explain the licensing and assessment process for Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) and how they can receive consent to practice nursing in Canada.
