Forklift Operator 1

Program Description
This course will provide the inexperienced forklift operator with both theory and practical training in the operation of counterbalanced lift trucks. On successful completion, you will receive Mobile Equipment Operator Certification for Class 1, 4 and 5 counterbalanced lift trucks. Certification is valid for two years. This course meets current WCB guidelines and CSA Standards for lift-truck operators.

English 10 or equivalent

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
Operate forklifts in a competent and safe manner within WCB regulations.

Assignments, practical examinations, and final exam.
Completion Requirements*
Must complete all assignments and final exam with a grade of 70% or above, must have a grade of 80% or above in practical assessment.
